Shop With a Cop Awarded $5,000

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- ABC7's Matt Keller read to 3rd graders from San Jose's Santee Elementary School after presenting Shop with a Cop Foundation of Silicon Valley with $5,000 to help fund a Summer reading program. Keller was joined by the Earthquakes mascot Q, along with San Jose police officers, CHP  and deputies from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department. There was also book giveaway. The Shop With a Cop Foundation is launching a  summer  reading program at the school to inspire students to read more and close the achievement gap.
